I bet 85%, at least 70% of people would do this: view PDF with Adobe Reader and view PowerPoint with Microsoft Office PowerPoint. Maybe my data is not that accurate, but at it indicates people are inclined to choose certain software for one purpose. But, have you imagined that what if you don’t have the corresponding viewer on your computer to read a PDF document or a PowerPoint Presentation?
Not bad.

According to Adobe, most of the PDF files are generated from office documents like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and etc. After editing contents in the editable format files, people would like to save them as PDF documents for sharing, storing, or other usage like survey.
Today, I would talk about the business about teachers and speakers. These kinds of people would use Microsoft PowerPoint frequently for teaching and illustrating. Inevitably, they need refer to some slides which were saved as PDF format, maybe copy some text, extract images or recover all the slides. And let’s back to our topic, how to add PDF files into PowerPoint Slides?
Here I would introduce you some free solutions, which would be helpful.
1. Add PDF files using Adobe Reader
You just need to open PDF file in Adobe Reader and Click Camera icon and then select the images and press Ctrl+C to copy the images/area to the clipboard. Then open PPT slides and press Ctrl+V to paste the images/area to PPT slides from the clipboard. You can set the location where the image appears as well as revise the image size. It is up to you. What’s more, you can save the image as PNG, JPG, and Gif format and so on.
2. Using PowerPoint 2007 Object functions.
You can click the Insert ribbon to launch the service. The first button is Acrobat option, which means, you firstly need install Adobe Reader on your computer.
Click OK to open the box to choose PDF file you want to insert, Click default option and you would find PDF files are inserted into PPT slides for presentation. Then you can view them on PPT presentations, Click the icon and the PDF file will be viewed on Adobe Reader.
The two free approaches can help you add PDF into PPT slides so easy. However, there are some drawbacks we cannot avoid. For example, the PDF file we want to add is locked to prevent us open, copy or print it. Besides, we cannot edit the original PDF files for personal usage. If we really use the PDF documents in PPT slides unlimitedly, we have to convert PDF to PPT. By the conversion from PDF to PPT, we can edit PDF freely in editable PPT or PPTX format. And we can also use Acrobat to edit, but trust me; it would not be an easy work. Comparing two ways, I still prefer to the first way, though both of them may not be free.

For fairy a long stretch of ignorance, I am here, again. But only to find nobody come to visit my blog. Fine, just write to me is a good way to express my mind and help me out of being crazy.
Just because I am so eager to share my experience!
Today I would like to tell you a very simple way to make your PDF files to PowerPoint presentation. Then you will get a sense of so unwisdom by copy your content in PDF file then paste it in PowerPoint presentation.
What? Why should you do this so idiot thing like convert PDF file to PowerPoint? Well, somehow you will need it. Want persuadable reasons? Ok. Let’s see this, while you are working, your boss asks you for a PPT for meeting, and all the materials and data is in a PDF file for security purpose, now you need them in PowerPoint, how to get that data in PDF file? And if you are getting a chance of promo, you have to make a presentation about what you do, what you have achieved, but all of them are in a PDF file, you need them in PowerPoint! What’s more, have you met this situation that you found a PowerPoint template in internet, downloaded it to find it was in a PDF file?
You want them, right?
I hope that is clear to you now. So, let’s come back to the topic.
Actually there is so many software could do you this favor, they are cheap, or even free. After months of trying, after several software of trying, we decided to use this converter named AnyBizSoft PDF to PowerPoint converter. Oh, plus we have its Mac version in our office too. Mac users are everywhere, you know.
Ok, so that is it. I guess we don’t need a so elegant tutorial for it is so easy to handle. If you want indeed, please let me know then. But really to tell a truth, this converter owns a very seriously friendly user interface. It almost treats you as a fool. Everyone who meets it first time could be a professor in a short time. Yep, I can prove that with my experience. No wonder that people say truth is self-prove or you may say self-evident. And you don’t need a PhD really.
Then you can do as you wish. Customize the converted PowerPoint, make it yours. Remember that you can convert all PDF file to PowerPoint, but you can never convert that copyright, please pay attention to this favor.
At last I may paste the interface of this tool, or may not.

When I wait in the bus stop, lie in bed for sleepiness or so, iPhone is definitely a good company to kill time. As an eBook lover, iPhone to me is more an eBook reader that can be used to call than a Phone that can serve as an eBook reader. I%u2019ve got a large collection of eBooks in PDF and EPUB in my computer, and I%u2019m used to transferring them to my iPhone to read. I%u2019ll talk about two ways to read PDF on iPhone below.
Transfer PDF to iPhone
There are quite a few apps which help facilitate eBook reading on iPhone
or other devices like iPod Touch and iPad. iBooks and iTunes are
basic two apps I always turn to. I use iTunes to transfer PDF to
iPhone and iBooks to organize my eBook collections and read them on
iPhone.
The transfer can be done within 3 steps:
1. Drag and drop PDFs from desktop to iTunes library;
2. Connect iPhone to the computer;
3. Choose the iPhone in the source list under Devices, choose the books you want to sync, and click Sync button.
Thumbnail view, built-in search, eBook covers, etc, these features iBooks provides helps me find the book I want as soon as possible. Additionally, I can categorize and rate my eBook collections just like what I do to music collections. It%u2019s a pleasant experience to use iBooks anyway.
Tips: The release of iBooks 1.1 makes iPhone more compatible with PDF, which makes people can read PDF directly on iPhone. Sound good, right? However, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 4.0, because iBooks 1.1 requires iOS 4.0.
Read PDF on iPhone
Personally, I prefer to read eBooks in EPUB. My preference is purely
out of practicability. EPUB is a more flexible format for eBook
readers, as it displays text in an optimized way for particular
devices. I don%u2019t have to scroll up and down or left and right on
iPhone to view the oversized eBook which is only suitable for computer
viewing. EPUB knows my iPhone screen size and adjusts itself for me.
How sweet! I want all my eBooks in EPUB format, even though a large
percentage of them are in PDF. After some Google searching, I found a PDF to EPUB Converter could help.
I bet you can%u2019t believe the conversion is as easy as the transfer. You just do the drag and drop, and a click of charm on Convert button. Suddenly, all of my PDF eBooks have their EPUB copies. The result really satisfies me. EPUBs! Not PDFs anymore! After that, all I have to do is to move on to the next regular step%u2014transfer (refer to the steps mentioned above).
Tips: Concerning the PDF to EPUB Converter, some Mac users might ask, what if I am using Mac OS. That question is understandable as Mac users usually suffer from that many apps only provide Windows version. The fact is that whether you are using PC or Mac OS, converting PDF to EPUB is no big deal. Want more information as a Mac user? Click to refer to this article How to Convert PDF to EPUB on Mac. I guess it may give you some hint.
Conclusion
You can choose both methods according to your preference. If you like
to view PDF directly in your iPhone, follow the first way. If you are
an EPUB fan like me, don't hesitate to do the conversion. Believe me;
it can be done in the blink of an eye!
